Beginnings and Ends

I thought it would be fun to share some family pictures from over the years - our first and last pictures in front of our Winston-Salem house, plus our family picture in front of our current front door (since the buildings a little too big to get in the picture).

Brian and I moved to Winston-Salem in early July 2005. We had graduated from college on May 7th, got married on May 14th, and found out on our honeymoon that Brian was accepted to Wake Forest School of Medicine! After coming home from the honeymoon, we lived for a few weeks with Brian's parents, during which time the four of us took a weekend to go house hunting in Winston. We spent two days looking for houses before deciding to make an offer on the first house that we saw. Initially I wasn't thrilled with it, but then as I saw the other options in our pricerange in Ardmore we realized that with some work it could become a great home for us. And we were so right!

We also had no idea at the time that we would be spending 8 years in it and would be welcoming two kiddos into the family before leaving! So here we are as a family of four on July 1 2013, the day we moved away from Winston-Salem.

And since we got a new camera tripod delivered from Amazon yesterday, we were able to take this family shot in front of our door here in Boston!  We know our stay here is short but we will certainly be making tons of wonderful memories during out time here!
