This was too impressive not to share! A while back, we hid one of Nathan's two tubes of toothpaste in an attempt to speed up our teeth-brushing routine. I stuck it up in the cabinet with our medicine and other bathroom supplies and promptly forgot about it. But the other day, the cabinet was open when Nathan walked into the bathroom, and after looking up in the cabinet for less then 5 seconds (not exaggerating!), he pointed and said "toothpaste lost!" Yes, the lost toothpaste had been found! I was amazed that he was able to spot it so quickly especially with the label side facing out and all the other junk up there!

Remember when he got up from a nap and in just a few seconds noticed that I had left the shed door open in the back yard? Reminds me of when you were very small and smelled peanut M&Ms on my breath. He will keep you on your toes! Gran
ReplyDeleteFrom Aunt Karen: so glad Nathan has that "attention to detail" gene. It will serve him well in school and when he's an adult but can also drive you crazy at this age. Fran, Kevin too would grab my mouth to open it when he smelled chocolate on my breath. Kevin has that "detail" gene too. Finally, a McDonald trait...ha
